This afternoon is for young people aged 11 to 17 who want to improve their cooking skills and enjoy time in the kitchen.
Today we will make burgers, buns and coleslaw. You will learn how to chop and slice vegetables using a chef’s knife – a great skill to have from a young age. We will make our burgers from scratch and make bread rolls from scratch too.
So plenty of skills today and a delicious supper to take home to enjoy.
Please aim to arrive by 2.20pm and wear comfortable shoes. Bring two airtight containers to take home your burger and coleslaw salad, and a bag for your bread rolls.
