South African Sunday Lunch

Karen is cooking a South African lunch this Sunday – Pieter has taught her well!

We will have one sitting at 1.30pm, with the bar open from 1.00pm. As usual we dine together at long tables creating a convivial, friendly event. Please tell us about any dietary needs such as vegetarian alternative, at the time of booking. £16.00 per person for two courses.

Pieter’s Mum’s bobotie (South African national dish – minced lamb mildly flavoured with Cape Malay curry spice, sultanas, almonds & baked with a buttermilk topping), rice, spicy fresh sambal, banana and yoghurt sambal, coconut sambal,  Mrs Ball’s chutney
