This afternoon we help you get confident preparing vegetables using a cooks’ knife. We will teach you techniques including the slice, chop, back-slice and rock-chop. You will learn to confidently and efficiently prepare mirepoix, the basis for so many dishes. When you use a cook’s knife efficiently and confidently, meal preparation becomes so much quicker and easier!
We will turn the results of our chopping and slicing into a delicious Tuscan bean soup. Take it home to share or sit down to enjoy here.
