Do you have a budding young chef waiting to get creative in the kitchen? We offer regular Saturday baking and cooking sessions for young people aged from 8 upwards (or age 5+ if accompanied by an adult).
Today we will make a Chinese takeaway favourite – sweet & sour chicken with rice; then a delicious ice cream sandwich for dessert. There will be plenty of skills involved including chopping and slicing, sauce making, frying and baking.
We start at 10.00am prompt. All ingredients are included. Children aged 8 and over do not need to be accompanied by an adult so long as their behaviour is appropriate. Parents who prefer to stay are welcome to sit in the restaurant/bar area.
Please bring airtight containers to take home your two fritters; we will cook the pudding in foil dishes but a stronger container to carry these home in would be useful so please bring one.
