Do you have a budding young chef waiting to get creative in the kitchen? We offer regular Saturday baking and cooking sessions for young people aged from 8 upwards (or age 5+ if accompanied by an adult). Today’s bread making class should appeal more to older children, but younger ones are also welcome.
Today we will learn bread making skills and make a delicious Italian bread called focaccia. It is a soft bread stuffed with ingredients such as olives, cherry tomatoes and rosemary. We will also make a homemade pesto sauce.
We start at 1.30pm prompt. All ingredients are included. Children aged 8 and over do not need to be accompanied by an adult so long as their behaviour is appropriate. Parents who prefer to stay are welcome to sit in the restaurant/bar area.
Please bring a small airtight container to take home the pesto you will make.
