This is a class for children aged 8+ who are comfortable taking part without a parent or carer in the background. Adults are welcome to sit outside on our deck if the weather permits, but due to the current regulations the class will be for children only.
Today we will make our own pasta and turn it into ravioli.
- Making pasta from scratch using a food processor
- Using a pasta machine to make pasta sheets
- Cutting ravioli shapes and filling with pre-made ricotta and spinach filling
This class will suit young keen cooks aged approximately 8 to 14. Children need to be comfortable attending without an adult. Parents/carers who prefer to stay are welcome to sit outside on our deck, weather permitting
We start at 9.30am prompt. All ingredients are included. The class will have a maximum of 8 children.
NB After the class, children and their families are invited on a 30 minute free nature walk around the Chequers area with Becky, Assistant Warden of Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory. Becky will show you hidden gems in our lovely rural neighbourhood and inspire you to learn about and enjoy the unique nature around Chequers and the Ancient Highway.
