In our popular bread making class you will knead, pummel and stretch your way to a perfect loaf. We shall use different flours and flavourings such as nuts, seeds, fresh herbs; and we will learn about using fresh and dried yeasts to make a variety of doughs.
At the end of the lesson you will leave the class with a bag of dough, skills for life and baked loaves.
You will make:
- A lovely Italian focaccia
- Challa bread – a traditional, enriched Jewish bread
- Soda bread
- Traditional white loaf dough to take home and bake
Please arrive by 9.50am, bring strong paper or hessian bags to take home your bread and an airtight container for dough. Please wear comfortable shoes!
