Chef-Tutor Liza continues our Oriental Journey today with a Japanese sushi class. Liza hails from Malaysia and has many years’ experience of creating dishes from across the far east, from Vietnam to Japan, Korea to Malaysia and China. Over the journey Liza is also teaching dishes from Korea, Malaysia and Vietnam.
Today’s dish is Japanese sushi. Liza will teach you the techniques involved and you will make a variety of sushis including savoury and sweet sushi. At the end of the class you can either tuck in to your sushi here or take it home to share.
This is a relaxed, friendly afternoon’s cooking, filled with information, skills and hands-on cooking.
Please arrive by 9.50am, and bring a suitable container if you wish to take your soup home.
