Enjoy learning how to make Gyoza (餃子) which is a very popular Japanese dish.
This delicious Japanese dumpling is very versatile and fairly simple to make. You can fry, steam or boil Gyoza and have them as savoury or sweet treats. Gyoza can be served as a delicious appetizer, mouth-watering main meal, handy light snack or divine dessert. The process of wrapping is also fun and enjoyable to do with your family or friends. Once you learn how to make them, you can be creative with the fillings and to try different styles of wrapping.
This course will be presented by Miki from Kyoto, Japan. As Miki is also a Japanese language teacher, you will also learn some handy Japanese phrases!
We will make the following dishes:
- Fried Gyoza
- Gyoza noodle soup
- Cheese and Nori(seaweed) gyoza rolls
- Banana and Nutella gyoza dumplings
Please arrive by 9.50am, bring a container to take home your gyoza dumplings, and wear comfortable shoes.
