Do you have a budding young chef waiting to get creative in the kitchen? This class is for children aged 8 to 14, although enthusiastic younger children may come if they are accompanied by an adult.
Today we will make Stromboli, a fabulous Italian treat that makes a great picnic item – if you don’t devour it as soon as it comes out of the oven!
Stromboli is a kind of rolled, stuffed pizza. We will learn to make pizza dough and practice our knife skills. We’ll roll and stuff our Stromboli with lovely mozarella cheese, roasted veg and ham, for those who want it. We’ll have a lovely time cooking together.
Children aged 8+ do not need to be accompanied by an adult so long as their behaviour is appropriate. Parents who prefer to stay are welcome to sit in the restaurant/bar area.
Please bring a suitable container to take home your stromboli. Please aim to arrive around 1.20pm so we can start promptly.
