This is a super club for children aged 9 to 15 who love to cook or are keen to learn.
Each week we make a savoury or sweet dish, learning and developing essential cooking skills and techniques along the way.
This Chequers Kitchen After School Cookery Club runs on Wednesdays during term times. Enrolment is per course and this block runs from 13th September to 11th October, 4:30pm to 5:45 pm.
Club sessions start at 4.30pm promptly. All ingredients are included. Our tutors are qualified teachers and/or chefs and have been background checked for working with children. Children do not need to be accompanied by an adult so long as their behaviour is appropriate. Parents who prefer to stay are welcome to sit in the restaurant/bar area.

Week 2: Indian chicken and vegetable pilaf – one-pot cooking
Week 3: Sweet potato and red pepper Thai curry parcel – oven cooking in a paper parcel
Week 4: Plum crumble with real custard
Week 5: Bacon, squash and sage pasta – with pan frying on the hob
