Dear Customers and Friends, in-person classes will re-start just as soon as the restrictions allow and this is looking promising for May! We are adding classes and taking bookings. If you were booked onto a cancelled class and haven’t yet heard from us, please check your Spam box! Or just give us a ring on 01304 362288 or email info@chequers.kitchen. Classes will have fewer participants than usual, for now, to maintain social distancing and the school will be well ventilated. We look forward to welcoming you back to Chequers Kitchen.
Our Cookery Courses in Kent
At Chequers Kitchen Cookery School, we’ve gone from strength to strength, our cookery courses gaining popularity every year. This, in turn, has helped us move forward to fully widen and develop our curriculum. Our aim is to provide a wide range of cookery classes and workshops that offer something for everyone.
Our Chefs Make Learning Easy
Our cookery courses in Kent all take place in our purpose-built, fully-equipped teaching kitchen and are taught by our friendly in-house team or a visiting expert. You’ll have all the equipment you need to get stuck-in, and plenty of elbow room, as the kitchen is a large, open space with the work-surfaces set as an island in the middle. This ensures you aren’t crowded, and that everyone can see the cooking demonstration clearly.
Many Courses for Budding Chefs
Whether you’re a complete novice, or an advanced cook wanting to finesse your knife skills or perfect your bread-making technique, we cater to all levels. We also offer cooking clubs and after-school workshops for kids which are fun and educational.
A small sample of our courses so far are artisan bread-making, South African, Thai, Italian and other world cuisines, as well as holiday offerings such as hot cross buns at Easter and Christmas puddings, etc. See our list of cookery courses in Kent below for more information.
